Being Organic in EU: a new free photographic database for organic farming is now online

Organic farming is biodiversity. However, capturing this diversity throughout the entire supply chain is not easy. For this reason, and to ensure that there is always the right image for all organic operators and their communication needs, a new photographic database created by Naturland for the Being Organic in EU project is now online.

Naturland, a German association for organic farming, has developed this new photographic database for the Being Organic in EU project, promoted by FederBio. The database can be accessed at the following link: https://being-organic-in-eu-bio.px.media/overview and contains a rich selection of images that can be downloaded and printed for free.

From horticulture to pasture farming, the “Being Organic in EU” photo database covers all important sectors of the organic supply chain, including specific practices and processes such as crop rotation.

Users can search by keyword—in both German and English—to make it easier to select the right photo. Additionally, there are various thematic categories to simplify browsing the archive.

The database currently contains over 1,000 photos, but by the end of the project, more than 2,000 images will be available. This initiative is part of the European promotion campaign “Being Organic in EU,” and the service is aimed at everyone working in the organic sector or involved in communicating about the organic world.

This includes freelance journalists or bloggers, photojournalists for magazines, websites, or portals, as well as enthusiasts and organic farmers who, for example, want to create informational material for their certified businesses.

The use of the images is always free as long as the source “Being Organic in EU” is mentioned.
